It also a software system that is designed to search for information on the World Wide Web.
The Three Search engines I chose are Google, Bing, and wolfgramalpha.
Google is used
MSN Search, Windows, and Live Search.
What is the Difference between Google and WolfgramAlpha?
Google searches web pages for words that you have entered and decides which ones are must suited for your search entry. It would then provide you with a set of links to pages, based on relevance, which may contain the data you need. Another method is done by Wolfram Alpha, which is not a search engine but a computational engine that tries to make sense of your entry and provides you an answer to the best of its abilities. It does not directly link you to other web pages based on keywords, but provides a little sidebar with what it thinks is related to your search. Basically, if google is based on the link that leads to keywords that you needed, then WolfgramAlpha is used to find the answer immediately.
What I have learned on this Search engines is that each have their own formulas for determining the sites and the ordering of the sites it will list. And even though they all use many of the same factors in their formulas, there is no 1 formula that will work for all of them. Another thing I learned is using 'good advice' on how to improve your Google position will also help you with your placement on Yahoo and many other search engines.
Right now, I don't dislike the search engines that much because, they have good resources, very important facts, and uses descriptive terms to identify a certain subject on any engine I like to choose.
